Intelligent Routing - We utilize BGP to provide intelligent,
fail-safe routing. We route your users to the fastest available

Scalability - 1 Hour Hosting buys transit from 10 Tier 1
backbone providers, including AT&T, Qwest and Level 3 and has over
4GB of provisioned data capacity.
Redundancy - Built-in redundancy through multiple redundant
network connections and redundant router and switch configuration.

Security
Physical Security
Our facilities are manned with 24/7 security personnel. Badge/photo
ID access screening as well as biometric access screening are
employed for an added level of security. We have installed a dual
door floor trap design for access to the raised floor area, and we
require escorts to gain access to raised floor areas. Sensitive
security areas within the center are protected by motion sensors and
security breach alarms, and video cameras installed throughout the
center are continuously monitored by security personnel.
Network Security
All of our systems are designed to maintain a quality of service
throughout the network by prioritizing packets to maintain an order
of precedence of services. Each network device is equipped to filter
out DOS attacks. We also offer intelligent, multilayer access
control that can be utilized to protect the network from the impact
of attacks while reducing the risk of inadvertently discarding
legitimate traffic.
Our primary bandwidth provider is Qwest Communications.
Qwest has built the first nationwide fiber-optic network designed
for Internet Protocol (IP) applications and services.
Qwest systems offer advanced Internet-based networking and
application services. Qwest's nationwide OC-48/192 IP backbone is
the highest speed IP over SONET network available today, connecting
major U.S. markets including
hubs in Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Kansas City, Los Angeles,
San Francisco, San Jose, Seattle, New York, and Washington, D.C.
This powerful combination of bandwidth and hardware enables
us to support bandwidth-intensive applications such as, electronic
commerce & enterprise resource planning and allows us to offer a

Full Backup Power
The operations center is fully equipped with a 48v dc power plant,
and all of our equipment is fed with conditioned dc power. In the
unlikely event of complete power failure, back-up power supplies
will come on-line. In case of extended power failure, a backup
generator is also on standby.
RAID Hard Disk Storage Array
This back-up technology allows vital data to be accessed even in the
event of total drive failure. All critical data is backed up on an
incremental basis to ensure maximum system redundancy.
Full-Time Air Conditioning & Heating
The center is cooled and heated 24-hours a day for an optimal
environment for both the computers and staff.
24-hour Monitoring and Video Surveillance
To insure against line failures and intrusion, the center is
monitored around the clock by a comprehensive security system
supplemented by video surveillance equipment.
100Mbps Cat5 Wiring
The entire center is wired in 100Mbps Category-5 wiring for
unbeatable speed and reliability. In addition, our network is fully
switched using Cisco Systems networking gear.
